Fashion or Commerce?

Fashion has always been of paramount importance. To a huge proportion of women the clothes they wear everyday either to go to work or to go to the gym are carefully selected. With the passing of time, men have not been able to resist the temptation of being part the chic world. Both, females and males, are driven by a burning desire to follow the trend regardless of the money they pay in order to be “in”.

People have attached especial importance to clothing. They are so concerned about being in vogue that they do not think of the possibility of becoming a fashion victim. To such an extent that they may wear the weirdest clothes even though these may not look appealing.

This short-lived craze is the business that encourages people to waste money. They are willing to pay whatever sums in order to look stylish. Fashion and the media are pushing society to adopt a “disposable attitude” towards all the ítems of clothing that go out after a few weeks. This belief is actually hiding a compulsive behaviour towards shopping.

All in all, it is important to highlight that new clothing articles are daily manufactured. And that it is up to each person whether to take part in the world of fashion or rather the world of commerce.
